...Mais depuis leur installation en Allemagne, nos amis en ont vu bien d’autres: pensez-donc, les voici à présent à la tête d’un quintette électrique! Mais quelle mouche les à donc piqués?
Je me souviens bien que “Lance” m’avait confié, voici dix ans déjà, son trouble passé dans la scène rock U.S. (il fut même un temps roadie pour les Allmans!), et pour bœuffé avec lui, je sais aussi quel méchant guitariste électrique il sait de montrer. Mais, en un mot comme en cent: pourquoi? Oui, pourquoi engager trois musiciens (si bons soient ils, et c’est d’ailleurs le cas), pour entourer l’un des duos les plus autonomes que la terre ait porté?
Réponse, à l’écoute de cet excellent CD: Parce que... Parce que se Lance est assurément l’un des plus talentueux bluesmen en activité à ce jour, son expression ne s’est jamais limité à celà.
Attention: on n’est ici jamais bien loin du blues (et même souvent les deux pieds dedans), mais les orchestrations que permettent l’adjonction des claviers du chilien Paco Saval et de la section rythmique (Ralph Schlaeger - quel nom pour un batteur! - et Banju B., pour basse) procurent à Lance un nouveau tremplin pour élargir son champ d’investigation. Et ce non seulement en tant que compositeur (on y revient de suite), mais bien évidemment en tant que guitariste électrique. Et aussi, combien sommes-nous en Europe, à pouvoir apprécier à leur juste valeur les talents de lyricist d’un Lance Harrison? Quelques un(e)s sans doute (heureusement), mais il n’est que justice de souligner ici combien ce regard cerclé de métal (au milieu de cette bonne face de baba) excelle à observer et traduire les plus complexes des sentiments (“If you could”) comme les plus banales des situations (Eliz jane”).
Et ce toujours en termes choisis et pertinents: les paroles figurent dans le livret, attardez vous-y, ça mérite le détour! “Home again” renvoie à ce rock californien qu’illustraient notamment les Byrds à la fin de leur carrière. La douze cordes façon Mcguinn y est relayée par un solo aérien millésimé seventies (sans parler d’une mélodie estampillée Height & Ashbury, telle que des groupes comme REM y les ont un temps ressuscitées). Avec l’adjonction de l’harmo de Ralf Grottian, “Better than dead” nous ramène sur les rives du ragtime que pratiquent d’ordinaire Lance & Donna en duo. Sauf que le piano bastringue de Paco et l’apport rythmique des deux autres le poussent vers le côté honky-tonk de la Force - une autre réussite à leur actif. Avec le même invité, “I’m going home” tire quant à lui vers l’approche laid-back de bands tels que le Dead période “American Beauty” (c’est également le cas pour “If you could”, déjà présent sur la première démo du groupe).
“Chicken shack” est plus ouvertement marqué par l’Allman Brothers Band, tant su le plan rythmique (bravo, les gars!) que sur celui de la guitare (cet emprunt caractéristique et simultané au picking country et au solo blues). Trois plages présentent de fait des versions réarrangées pour la circonstance d’extraits de leur répertoire acoustique. “I know every train”, “Bad Water” et “Bad” font ainsi la traversée, permettant à Saval des mappes d’orgue inspirées, et bien sûr à Lance quelques jolis décollages électrifiés (“Bad” y conservant toutefois la touche country clues tel que le modernisèrent certains groupes du Sud dans les seventies).
“Back on you” sillonne quant à lui avec brio les sentiers chaloupés du Little Feat de “Dixie Chicken” et “Sailin’ Shoes”. La slide de Lance y rend ouvertement hommage à celle de Lowell George, tandis que Saval y fourbit ses ivoires comme un véritable rescapé de la Nouvelle-Orléans: l’une de mes plages favorites! L’aérien “Nine foot sack” évolue quant à lui sur un semi-reggae back-beat, pour évoquer le poids de la dette (du métayer ou du tiers-monde?
Bon Dieu, regardez à “métaphore” dans le dico! Assurément l’un des titres les plus éloignés du répertoire coutumier de notre duo, mais aussi celui où les instrumentistes s’en donnent le plus à cœur-joie (pas vrai, Manju et Ralph?). “Only memories” est un slow comme les affectionne Aaron Neville, et évoquant les Kinks rétro désuets de “Schoolboys in disgrace”. Et la boucle est bouclée: l’ironie de “Get used to it” (titre d’ouvertire de ce disque à la fois séduisant et déconcertant) me rappelait d’entrée de jeu la verve grinçante d’un Ray Davies... Moralité: si les blues-purists se rueront sans remords sur “The Sun Will Shine”, il est peu probable qu’ils trouveront leur compte sur celui-ci. Ça laisse heureusement de la marge à Lance: le blues-purist semble en effet une espèce en voie de raréfaction, de nos jours!

Lance Harrison Band: "Live Demo " (13’58) Auto-production
Pour les plus fidèles (et anciens !) de nos lecteurs, Lance n’est assurément pas un nouveau venu. Avec sa compagne Donna Howley, il forme en effet depuis plus de dix ans l’un des duos les plus originaux de la scene blues europénne : Lance & Donna.
À la tête d’un répertoire mixant blues accoustique et ragtime (ainsi que reprises et compos personnelles), Lance s’est affirmé au fil des ans et des tournées en tant que slide guitariste émérite.
Mais comme ses origines (Nashville, Tennessee) et son âge le laissaient deviner, notre homme est entré en blues (comme on dit en religion) par l’éctricité. Cela faisait une paye qu’il caressait l’idée de monter son propre combo sur le continent. Une première mouture du Lance Harrison Band vit donc le jour en France (avec un autre immigré américain, Jeff Magidon, ex-Pig Mama et John Doe, depuis retourné au bled), mais c’est de leur nouvelle terre d’adoption (l’Allemagne) que nous vient à présent cette démo live, captée dans un club à Cologne. Et le moins qu’on puisse dire, c’est que Lance persiste dans le cosmopolitisme: Ralph Schläger (trop beau, ce nom, pour un batteur!) est le seul teuton de la bande, qui comprend (outre la fidèle Donna, aux backing vocals et percussions diverses) l’excellent pianiste chilien Paco Saval, et le "mysterious" Manju B à la basse. Ces trois musiciens accomplis, tous issus de la très active scène colognaise, accusent des parcours plus que conséquents, mais à l’ecoute de ce 4 titres, pas d’équivoque: c’est bien Lance le patron! Dès la première plage ("Chicken Shack"), on pige qu’on a ici affaire à de sérieux clients. Sur un riff proche de celui du "Wandering Spirit" de Mick Jagger (et, partant de là, de celui de "Got my Mojo Working"), le solo de piano de Paco et celui de la Gibson de Lance plantent d’emblée le décor: ce Harrison - là a tougours adoré l’Allman Brothers Band. Et même si sa propre formation est moins étoffée que celle de ses modèles, c’est aussi de ce côté-là (vers Macon, Georgia) qu’il faut cher-cher les roots de ce band, comme le confirme ensuite "If You Could", ballade mélancolique sur laquelle le timbre vocal de Lance et sa guitare (portés par une rythmique impeccable et l’orgue de Saval) démontrent ce qu’établir un climat veut dire. Les deux autre titres sont plus classiquement blues dans leur facture" "Bad Water" est un shuffle émaillé d’un bref solo d’orgue de Paco (avant celui des six cordes du leader), et "Better Than Dead" n’aurait pas déparé, naguère, le répertoire d’un Bob Brozman, avec son ragtime beat, sa slide désuette, son piano bastringue et les lyrics très "tongue-in-cheek" qu’y anonne Lance sur un ton goguenard. Bref, que du prometteur pour cette nouvelle formation, que l’on brûle d’impatience de goûter de visu!

For the most faithful (and old!) of our readers, Lance is undoubtedly not new to the scene. With his partner Donna Howley, they indeed are since more than ten years one of the most original duets of the european blues scene: Lance & Donna.
With the head of a repertoir mixing accoustics blues and ragtime (like recoveries and personal compositions), Lance was affirmed with the passing of years and tours as a highly skilled slide guitarist.
But like his origins (Nashville, Tennessee) and his age, we can only guess our man entered into blues (like one says in religion) by ectricity.
That made a dream which he cherished, the idea to assemble his clean combo on the continent.
The first grindings of the Lance Harrison Band was thus born in France (with another American immigrant, Jeff Magidon, ex-Pig Mama and John Doe, since returned to the states), but it is of their new ground of adoption (Germany) that we now present this live demo, captured in a club in Cologne.
And the least which one can say, it is which Lance persists in the cosmopolitanism: Ralph Schläger (this name is too beautiful for a drummer!) is only the teuton band, which includes (in addition to the faithful Donna, with the backing vocals and various percussions) the excellent Chilean pianist Paco Saval, and the "mysterious" Manju B on bass. These three accomplished musicians are all from the very active scene in Cologne, there could be concern with the consequences of this, but with the listening of this 4 titles, without joking: Lance is truly the leader!
As of the first track "Chicken Shack", a story which one has business with serious customers. On a riff near to that of "Wandering Spirit" of Mick Jagger (and, on the basis of that, of "Got my Mojo Working", the piano solo of Paco and that of Lance ‘s Gibson plantent d’emblée le décor: this Harrison – has always adored the Allman Brothers Band.
And even if his own formation is packed like that of its models, it is also on this side (towards Macon, Georgia) which it is necessary to seek the roots of this band, as on "If YouCould", ballade of a melancholic person on which the vocal stamp of Lance and his guitar (carried by impeccable rhythm and organ of Saval) shows he can establish a climate for what he wants to say.
The two other titles are more classically blues in their delivery. "Bad Water " is a shuffle enamelled with a short organ solo from Paco before the six strings of the leader, and" Better Than Dead " would not have stripped, at one time, the repertoir of Bob Brozman, with its ragtime beat, its slide désuette, its piano bastringue and the very" tongue-in-cheek " lyrics that anonne Lance on a ton goguenard.
In short, that this new formation is a promising one, and that I for one burn with impatience to taste the result!

„No Rest for the Wicked“
Von Vincent Abbate - Wie viele schöne Dinge ist die Lance Harrison Band quasi durch Zufall entstanden. Vor zwei Jahren sollte der in Nashville geborene Sänger und Gitarrist bei einem Festival in Luxemburg auftreten. Und zwar als Hauptact. Das einzige Problem: Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte Harrison keine Band. Die Gruppe, die er in Frankreich auf die Beine gestellt hatte, war inzwischen aufgelöst. Er rief deswegen bei einem Bekannten in Köln an - dem Bassisten Manju B - und erzählte ihm von seinem Problem. „Ich fragte ihn, ob er uns einen Schlagzeuger und Keyboarder empfehlen könnte“, erinnert sich Harrison. „Und Manju antwortete: &Mac226;Das ist ja komisch. Ich spiele zurzeit mit einem Keyboarder und einem Drummer und wir sind auf der Suche nach einem Frontman.’ So hat es klick gemacht. Sie lebten alle in Köln und hatten sogar einen eigenen Proberaum. Danke!“ Harrisons Blick geht nach obengen Himmel - als er letzteres erzählt.
Ob durch Zufall oder einen Akt Gottes - im Falle des in Chile geborenen Keyboarders Paco Saval und des deutschen Schlagzeugers Ralph Schlaeger handelt es sich um zwei erfahrene Musiker, die u.a. schon zusammen bei den Soul Cats gespielt haben. (Die Band war vier Jahre lang Hausband bei der RTL „Nachtshow“.) Auch Manju B kann auf eine lange Profikarriere zurückblicken. „Ungefähr zwei Wochen vor dem Auftritt in Luxemburg habe ich allen eine Demo-CD gegeben“, erzählt Harrison weiter. „Sie schafften es tatsächlich, innerhalb von zwei oder drei Tagen 25 Songs zu lernen! Es gab zwei Proben, dann spielten wir den Gig und alles ist prima gelaufen. Seitdem sind wir eine feste Einheit.“
Fünftes Mitglied der Lance Harrison Band ist die in Chicago geborene Donna Rae Howley. Spätestens jetzt müsste es bei vielen Lesern klingeln. Harrison und Howley sind seit fast zwanzig Jahren als Lance & Donna unterwegs, die letzten fünf davon in Deutschland. Ihr gemeinsamer Weg wurde mehrfach durch Schicksalsschläge und Zufälle bestimmt - angefangen mit der Entscheidung, ein sesshaftes Dasein in Nashville für das abenteuerliche Leben als Weltenbummler aufzugeben. „Im ersten Moment sahen wir vielleicht schwarz“, sagt Harrison über die finanziellen Schwierigkeiten, durch die das Paar damals ihr gesamtes Hab und Gut verloren hat. „Aber mit der Zeit wurde uns klar: Es war das Beste, was uns passieren konnte, weil wir dadurch unsere Freiheit gefunden haben. Wo wäre ich heute, wenn das damals nicht so passiert wäre? Vermutlich noch in Nashville, mit einem Job bei einer Webeagentur oder so was. In einer Sackgasse also. Eigentlich denke ich gar nicht mehr darüber nach. Hauptsache, wir sind jetzt frei.“
Damals wurde aus dem bürgerlichen Paar, das nebenbei Musik als Hobby machte, das Bluesduo Lance & Donna. Harrison kaufte sich in Mexiko für $42 eine Gitarre; Howley begleitete ihn als Perkussionistin auf dem so genannten „Rainstick“. Die beiden tingelten zuerst als Rucksacktouristen durch Südamerika, Asien und Eruopa, und spielten auf der Strasse. Irgendwann kauften sie sich ein Wohnmobil als Zuhause und wurden letztendlich von Festivalorganisatoren in Frankreich entdeckt. „Nicht durch Zufall, sondern durch einen Unfall, sind wir in Köln hängen geblieben“, erzählt Donna Howley. 2001 verendete dort nämlich ihr erster Mercedes 508 Wohnmobil als Totalschaden. Kurz vor Beginn einer vierwöchigen Deutschlandtournee hatten sie in Köln Halt gemacht. „Wir wollten auf dem Zülpicherplatz einen U-Turn machen. So was macht man nichtzumindest nicht, ohne von einer Straßenbahn getroffen zu werden.“ Obwohl das Paar kurze Zeit später einen neuen Bus fand, hatten sie inzwischen eine kleine Künstlersiedlund am Rande der Stadt entdekkt, die ihnen gefiel. „Ifgendwie erinnert mich dieser Ort an Tennessee“ , sagt Harrison heute. „Wir sitzen oft abends am Lagerfeuer, umgeben von Bäumen. Keine Häuser stören den Blick. Das muss man einfach sehen!“. In diesem verträumten Umfeld schrieb er die Songs für die letzten beiden CDs - die 2005 von Lance & Donna erschienenen „The Sun Will Shine“ sowie seine neue CD mit der Lance Harrison Band, „No Rest for the Wicked.“ „Bei mir kommen die Songs einfach, wenn sie wollen“ sagt er. An manchen Tagen kümmert er sich eher um häusliche Dinge wie Brennholz hacken. An anderen wacht er mit einem Lied im Koph auf. „Manchmal ist es nur ein halber Song. Dann muss ich hart daran arbeiten.“ Eine Routine gibt es jedoch nicht. „Manche Songwriter sind diszipliniert und gehen jeden Tag um 16 Uhr komponieren. Egal, ob der Song dann gut oder schlecht wird.“ Für ihn wäre das kontraproduktiv. „Wenn man immer dasselbe tut, wird man diese Einheitlichkeit in den Songs wieder finden, weil man nur diesen einen Weg kennt.“
Obwohl er sich von Blueskünstlern wie Muddy Waters und Blind Willie Johnson inspiriert fühlt und der Blues in jedem seiner Songs spürbar ist, trägt Harrison keine musikalischen Scheuklappen. „Für mich erzählt jeder Song eine ganz eigene Geschichte. Das muss sich in der Musik widerspiegeln. Ich will die Geschichten nicht einfach ‘raus spucken’. Sie sind wie Menschen. Jeder ist anders. Ebenso besitzt jeder Song einen eigenen Charakter und das sollte man auch in der Musik hören.“
So überrascht die beeindruckende Vielfalt an Sounds auf der neuen Lance Harrison Band CD nicht. Neben bluesigen Tönen von seiner Lap Steel-Gitarre (er hat das 1938 Gibson Modell gekauft, als diese instrumente noch erschwinglich waren) sind eindeutige Einflüsse aus Country, Rockabilly, Reggae und Jazz zu hören. Er weiß: Mit dem neuen Lineup geht alles. „Das sind exzellente Musiker“, schwärmt Harrison von seiner Band. Im Vergleich zum Duo erlaubt sie ihn, zu neuen kreativen Ufern aufzubrechen. „Bestimmt sind durch die Band Ideen entstanden, die mir vorher nicht eingefallen wären.“ Im Mittelpunkt steht er aber selbst - der Sänger, Songwriter und Storyteller. Auch nach zwei CD-Veröffentlichungen kurz hinter einander scheinen ihm die Ideen nicht aus zu gehen. „Ich glaube manchmal, die Musik wird durch mich gechannelt.“
Fürs Erste werden Harrison und Howley sowohl als Duo als auch mit der kompletten Band auftreten. Auf die Frage, ob sie es jemals überlegen, ihr „einfaches“ Leben in Deutschland aufzugeben und in die USA zurückzukehren, reagiert das Paar fast gereizt. „Schon damals, als wir in Frankreich herumgefahren sind, hielten wir Ausschau nach einem Ort, an dem wir uns niederlassen könnten“, antwortet Howley. „Unser Leben ist jetzt hier. Und außerdem: Wo wir wohnen, ist uns relativ egal, so lange wir zusammen sind.“ Und Harrison fügt hinzu: „Deshalb sind wir zuhause und waren es schon immer!“

On dit qu'un bonheur ne vient jamais seul : Lance & Donna confirment en se faisant le plaisir d'un groupe électrique, et un nouvel album pour faire bon poids. Ils ont pris Paco Saval aux claviers, Manju B à la basse, Ralph Schlaeger à la batterie, ils ont invité Ralf Grottian à l'harmonica pour trois titres, tous excellents musiciens, et zou, voilà le Lance Harrison Band ! Comme à l'accoutumée, l'inspiration de Lance, auteur, tantôt seul, tantôt avec Donna, de 13 morceaux sur 14, ce sont les musiques roots américaines : du blues, bien sûr, mais aussi du ragtime, de la country, une once de folk-rock, et voilà près d'une heure d'excellente musique, de textes à l'humour plein de clins d'œil, parfois plutôt plein de tendresse, toujours bien vus. L'expérience est concluante : Lance & Donna version groupe électrique, ça le fait grave ! Bien sûr, ça reste Lance & Donna, la marque de fabrique est là, le CD est baigné dans leur propre personnalité musicale, mais c'est un autre son, un autre groove. Tout aussi plaisant que le duo, c'est peut-être aussi la possibilité pour Lance de s'exprimer dans un contexte qui lui permet d'autres choses, des domaines peut-être plus difficiles à explorer à deux en acoustique. Quoiqu'il en soit, voilà un album aux petits oignons, un vrai plat de résistance musical, de quoi combler le plus affamé des amateurs de musiques authentiques.

Lance Harrison Band: No Rest for the Wicked

Lance Harrison and his partner Donna Rae look like the living myth of all, what several generations in this country imagine as “the alternative America”: two hippies from Nashville Tennessee, where the blues is part of mother´s milk. Entering a mobile home in the 1960s, surviving Woodstock, the 70s and the 80s, travelled India, discovered Europe, grown wise and travelled on and never cut hair nor beard.
This is what you imagine if you meet them. Fact is, Lance Harrison comes from Nashville, Tennessee, where the blues is part of mother´s milk, and he played every instrument that crossed his way. Donna Rae comes from Chicago, worked as a model and actress until she met Harrison in the art-scene of Nashville. But it was in the 1990’s that they left their old life and entered the mobile home to travel the world. Harrison played the blues, Rae shook the rainstick. They were in India, lived in France for a while. They have fans in Poland and Tzecolovakia and over the last years they have a base camp in Cologne.
Lance Harrison does not only look like a living American myth, he also plays guitar and sings like you would expect from a freak from Nashville. So there were not just musicians, interested to play with him. In his case, a complete band came. Paco Saval (Piano, Keyboard.), Manju B. (bass) and Ralph Schlaeger (drums), formerly involved in a TV show band, were convinced about Harrison and his music. They called themselves “Lance Harrison Band” and after several gigs they produced a CD together.
„No rest for the wicked“ it´s called. 14 titles, not only classical Blues, recorded in a simple way, played on the point - and you can hear the fun they had. Harrison is a master of lapsteel – and bottleneck-guitars, with good feeling for slide and a lot of time. He plays not a note too much, and every note he plays with intention. Most of the time his singing is laconic and relaxed. In spite of that serene music the title of the CD is the program:
Wanna-go, arrive, travel on and the long road to a home are the themes.
“Home again” is a rock song and even the music tells about the feelings on the way home: Bass and guitar beat the verse and search a refrain full of exhaustion and longing.
The song “I´m going home”, which sounds pretty merry, is about a vagabond leaving this world.
„I have been here - it can be said / but someday I will be dead / an´ you can tell my friends : I´m going home.”
The Song „I know every train“ is told by the hobo who lives next to the railroad and tells about the good side of being a vagabond.
„ ain´t no place / I would rather be / it seems to be a / pretty good live to me”
You can meet him again in „Bad water“, now at wintertime, when he´s living in a cold shack with a rusty well. But his worst problem is missing female companionship. He goes so far to make the advance to cook and clean. But he is alone, so there´s nothing to do but wait for spring when things turn better:
„I´ll be like a millionaire / with money to burn!”
On the road the restless one meets a lot of bad people too, but sometimes they are the cause for good songs: “better than dead” describes a nice little revenge-dream:
„you´ll disappear one night“, the guy says as a warning to his lying, mean, fucked up opposite,
„and you´ll wake up with one hell of a tattoo!“
But the vagabond never pretended to be kind of good guy as well:
“only the good die young / at least that´s what they say / and if that´s true, I’m telling you / I´ll live forever and a day” he sings in “Bad”.
The stories could take place everywhere, the songs can be understood in Poland or in Japan, but they all somehow sound like Nashville, Tennessee, like that mixture of black and white and other music-elements. The images are “american” but common at the same time. Even in the “nine foot sack” which is part of the southern states history, the guy drags no cotton but his hope. “Only memories”, the final title is a great classic song where Harrison sounds a bit like Aaron Neville.
“No rest... “ is an album to be recommend not only to blues friends, and to visit a Lance Harrison Band concert is rewarding every time.

An e-mail from Lance Harrison with the question if I could be of service at retrieving his stolen guitars in Amsterdam was our first contact. Unfortunately I wasn't able to help him in this respect, but a review of his newest album - No Rest For The Wicked - lies certainly within my possibilities. Lance himself defines his music as: "modern blues with respect for the roots, unrelenting groove, and the soul". The fourteen tracks on this album vary from blues and roots to C&W and there is even some singer/songwriter material. I like the up-tempo blues 'City ' and also 'I Know Every Train' and especially 'Bad' (real low-down) in which the slide prevails. But to say I approve of them all, would be said too much. Most of them are performed too goody (and with lots of melancholia) to my liking. Should not the Blues be raw and even somewhat aggressive? Or this is a question of taste? Anyway, technically and musically the music is on the level. If you ask me you can define the style of Lance as "laid back music". J.J. Cale perfected the genre and became world-famous for it. Lance and his band approach this genre on very high level, a proof that they really are sound musicians.

Een mailtje van Lance Harrison met de vraag of ik hem van kon dienst zijn bij het terugvinden van zijn gestolen gitaren in Amsterdam was ons eerste contact. Zijn gitaren kan ik jammer genoeg niet terug vinden. Maar een cd-bespreking van zijn nieuwste album "No Rest For the Wicked" ligt dan weer wel in mijn mogelijkheden. Zelf omschrijft Lance zijn muziekstijl als: "Modern blues with respect for the roots, unrelenting groove, and the soul". Er staan veertien tracks op dit schijfje, gaande van blues, naar roots, country-gericht tot zelfs wat sing-songwriter materiaal. Heel leuk vind ik het ietwat up-tempo bluesnummer 'City'. Ook de nummers 'I Know Every Train' en vooral 'Bad' (echt low-down) waarin de slide primeert, kunnen mij bekoren. Of alle songs nu mijn goedkeuring kunnen wegdragen is een andere zaak. Want de meeste worden nogal braaf (zeg maar behoorlijk melancholisch) gebracht en daar wringt voor mij het schoentje. Blues mag best rauw, zelfs wat agressief worden gebracht. Of is dit gewoon een kwestie van smaak? Niettemin moet ik grif toegeven dat het muziekaal-technisch best goed zit. Zeer zeker als je gaat vergelijken. Als je het mij vraagt kun je de stijl van Lance best omschrijven als laid-back muziek. Een genre waar J.J. Cale wereldberoemd mee is geworden. Lance en band benaderen dit genre op hoog niveau, een bewijs dus dat zij echt degelijke muzikanten zijn.
